Technical details
Maltego is easy and quick to install - it uses Java, so it runs on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Hardware requirements
- You will need a 64-bit version of Java 8, 11 or 17 run-time installed on your machine in order to use Maltego.
- A minimum of 4GB of RAM is required. 16GB is recommended.
- The processing power of any modern, multi-core processor is sufficient.
- 4GB of disk space.
- A mouse is recommended for navigating Maltego graphs.
Network requirements
- A Maltego client requires Internet access to operate fully.
